The beginning of the school year is a great time to build your career! This fall, Career Development Services (CDS) welcomes new and returning students with a full slate of workshops and events. In addition to resume writing workshops and mock interviews for job seekers, CDS has tailored four new tracks for professionals at all levels. Discover which program best fits your current career goals and how CDS can help you today!

In Career Essentials workshops, you will get hands-on practice interviewing, planning a job search and crafting the perfect resume and cover letter. CAREER ADVANCEMENT: Designed for both mid-career and executive-level professionals, the Career Advancement series will provide hands-on opportunities to explore essential workplace skills, troubleshoot work-related issues and generate personalized strategies for professional development. In 2017-18, each session will focus on one of the five components of Emotional Intelligence: self-regulation, social skills, self-awareness, motivation and empathy. Fall sessions include:
  • Thursday, October 5 – Accountability That Works
  • Thursday, November 30 – Hard Conversations Made Easy
